Sheet repairs from inside
Gday all,
I nosed in my seagull PC9 on the weekend and damaged the sheeting just behind the canopy. I have taken a section of the bottom off so I can get in to the area and think I may be able to put a sheet under the damaged sheet. I have not gone through the covering in 2 areas so was hoping to be able to do a repair like this. Can anybody suggest a better way or has anybody done a erepair like this. what type of glue would you suggest etc.
Thanks for your help.
Regards

RE: Sheet repairs from inside
if you can get a piece of wood or a tool to place the sheeting in its proper place, and drip some thin CA glue at the breaks this is usually enough for small areas, some srategicly placed pieces of wood at the break points also helps.
I use these alot http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXK295&P=0 they place the glue just where you need it, and allow you to get into tight areas as well, I get mine from the hobby shop, I dont even use thin CA without the tips, since they work so well for glue control.
also photos are helpfull
