2 stkoke engine mess
I need some advise, pulled a good one here, I planned on putting a few drops of after run oil in my MDS 46 and by mistake picked up the bottle of epoxy hardner, before realizing it a few drops went into the plug hole. opps. Does anyone out there know what i need to do to correct this if possible. It has been in the motor for about a week now so today I took out the plug and rotated the head. It stills sounds like it has compression and not stiff at all. Thanks for any advise.

I'd just give it a good rinse with some mixed fuel, then run it again before oiling it again. methanol is actually my personal preference for cleaning epoxies and resins

RE: 2 stkoke engine mess
I hate it when I do something like that. [:@]
I have used both 91% rubbing alcohol and denatured alcohol to clean up a dirty engine. Both work pretty good on epoxy clean-up. The denatured would likely work a little faster w/o as much frustration.
I would take the engine apart though to clean it. I would be afraid of what might happen to it if any residue was left in it and it got hot from running.
Just my $.02 worth.
