No, you can tell from the AWEFULLY small control linkages for SUCH a "large" plane.......

If I remember correctly, this design of a plane was originally a model, then someone started selling a full scale plan or kit? I am not sure if I have the right plane..But I sure wish the story or info on this thread was filled in with more details from the original builder...

If these pictures are fake I'd love to know how he "faked" the picture of the torn up interior of the turtledeck that's clearly not made from typical small scale RC type materials. You'd have to be pretty stupid not to notice that.

The fake part.........This is NOT an RC Model.and this guy is blowing smoke up everyone's jumper!!! His first post said..." After 3 year of hard work it never got to leave the ground.""

and then he says..."This plane is built alot like rc planes and fly great"

SO....it's my opinion we have a guy that found a picture of a very ugly Homebuilt bird that was involved in some storm damage, and is using it to for what ever reason in this forum!!!

NOW.....IF, and I use the term lightly...IF in fact Mr Kitfox Man did build this thing.......AND IT IS RC....then a full blown apology will be on it's way, but he's gonna have to prove that #1. He built it....and #2. It's Radio Control....and that means...SHOW ME THE SERVO'S...AND THE RECIEVER...INSTALLED IN THIS BIRD!!!

The other giveaway...is the seat belt in 2 pictures. You'd have to be pretty stupid not to notice that.

This is a homebuilt.....and Kitfox is full of beans!!!!

Possibly he built it as a kit plane to fly himself, THEN ..sold it to someone that tried converting it to rc, just like the guys on myth busters have converted a couple full scale cars to rc...

I just noticed a thread about the MINIMAX airplane that was sold as a full scale kit...I am wondering if that is the story?

Either way its hardly worth getting exercised over, it is a small mystery to be sure....I hope we didn't scare off the original poster...

No guys the rc part was a joke . I did build this plane to fly but sold it . Yes it does look like a rc plane but one of the best planes around to fly. Go to the East Tennessee Lonesome Buzzards web site and you can read great info- on this plane and see lots of photos.

I saw a plane that looked a lot like that fly over my house one day. I am about 3/4 mile SE of the airport here in Elk City. They made a tight right turn and stalled it. By the time it pulled out of the dive it was 20'-30' above the ground. I had my cell phone out about to dial 911 when it finally pulled up. He was only 300' maybe when he started the turn. He headed right back toward the airport. I assumed to clean his draws.

Your right my wife and my mom was glad but these plane with the right motor fly great . You dont need a small motor you will always be under power and stalls will come up fast.
Look under youtube under minimax 1600r for videos. Minimax is a very safe plane.

Ever heard of a plane called a Cubbie? It was classed as an ultralight, but it looked like a scaled down cub, gear and all. I almost bit on one years ago at Oshkosh. Guy wanted $6500 RTF.

I stayed with my giant scale RC and just fly full scale 140s and 172s when I get the chance. Much safer.
