We all try to learn something when things go wrong. I don't understand what you are trying to tell us. It is very rare when the problem is the radio design. Did you check all of the usual other reasons?
I fully understand that this is very emotional for you. I have crashed at least 100 times so it is not a big deal when I go in. I always investigate the crash and in just about all cases, it was my fault. I still have not learned a thing from your crash, and that is OK. No need to get angry with me.

Nice crash though
I think it was more flutter on the spitfire, because you could hear the throttle working before it hit. But there is nothing you can do when the radio goes bad in flight, except try to turn off and on quick and hope it will reconnect.

I don't get it, the tailsurfaces fluttered and fell off (?), throttle responded even at the very end, how is this related to the radio?
I still don’t get it…
Judging by the dialog the plane is either a maiden or re-maiden after a repair.
The guy goes to full throttle and does the rookie yank-n-bank for a while with no complaints at all, then something flies off the plane and it dives into the ground. Nowhere on the video did the pilot say something was wrong.
Then we see a second video of a radio apparently malfunctioning and the voice on the video says he’s crashing afoamie with that radio. Not a spitfire?
Please don’t try and tell me the throttle (only) froze at the last second and caused the plane to go into flutter.
Looks like somebody just drove our prices up with his free stuff.

Here is the whole story on this. I was having all kinds of problems with my spektrum so I talked to horizon on the phone over 20 times on the probs I was having. They convinced me there was no prob with my tx so I was flying that spitfire and I lost signal in the turn with the throttle wide open pulled back on the throttle and nothing!!!!! Then the tail came off and then CRASH as per the video. OK round two. I sent everything back to horizon to look at it. There head tech went over my TX and sent it back to me with HIS 100% guarantee there was no prob with it. SO I binded a foamy to it and when out a bought 70 foot from me and lost it and crash. Came back into the house and looked down at the TX and the bind, range check light was BLINKING as seen in video 2. So I sent the TX back to Horizon and they determined that the TX had a bad solder joints on the TX side of it. So they did replace the DX7 and the plane for me. I was not trying to drive up the price on something that did not work right from day one. Horizon did the right thing and took care of a bad situation. P.S. I have had over 80 flights on the new TX and I’m getting back my confidence in it now. I hope I cleared up some of the confusion. THANK ALL BILLY D
