Who the?? How the?? What the?????
Yesterday, my wife and I went out to eat, leaving everything at our home normal. About an hour later, we came home to find my neighbor's tree laying across my airplane trailer!!! :stupid: There it was, about a forty foot long dead tree laying across my pride and joy! Luckily, it was dead or it might have gone all the way through my trailer and destroyed nearly every plane that I own! As it was, it broke in half when it hit the trailer. The trailer has a fair amount of damage, but it could have been a lot worse. Some people have all the luck!

If your planes are still intact, then that is luck! But to have a tree fall right into your model airplane trailer is not wht I would call luck.....

Nothing was damaged but the trailer, thank goodness! If they had, I would probably have been at the emergency room recieving CPR! LOL I feel VERY lucky that nothing was damaged but the trailer. I have everything from a UCD 60 to a DP Extra and a 1/3 scale Laser in there! But, as my wife said, I could wipe all of that out in a weekend of flying anyway! LOL I took some pictures and will post some as soon as I get them developed.

My neighbor does have one thing going for him that will help. It's called "insurance"! His agent called me today and told me to get an estimate and send it to him. Now all I have to do is figure out where to take it.

Wow. You are fortunate, then.
Normally, when a tree falls onto your property, even if it came from somewhere else,
it's considered an "act of God", and if covered, will be covered by your insurance, not theirs.

An act of God, huh? Man, that would be my luck! That really makes me feel fortunate! I could patch it if I had to, but it would be very ugly.
