something to keep in mind

Just something to keep in mind...when repairing the wing of your airplane with thin CA, be sure to have something on hand to debond the glue. because if you are like me and glue your bare foot to the linoleum floor you will have to yell for your son to get the nail polish remover or wait till someone finds you......

It was a good thing my 7 year old was here this evening. Otherwise I would have been stuck till I was missed Monday morning or ripped the skin off my left foot.

Lesson learned.

I glued my left hand closed to the tail feathers on my first build, my wife and two of my kids watched me struggle to open a can of acetone to get myself free....giggling the whole time! glad I had that, otherwise I would have lost a ton of skin!

Ask Minnflyer our Moderator what happened many years ago. I nearly lost a lung laughing. Hope he chimes in and tells the story again. Some have war stories about CA. My war story is about the X-acto blades from H$ll.
