Looking for some LustreKote Missile Red if anyone has any that they wouldn't mind parting with.

I am not trying to be a stick in the mud, but is that legal to ship? I think that's why its not in the LHS anymore. But I could be wrong. Perhaps somebody local to you will have some. Good luck.

Rustoleum is a pretty good match.

Two part automotive paint seems to be your best bet these days. The upside is that most automotive paint stores can match a color sample and the catylized paints are pretty tough. The down side is that it is expensive and doesn't come in a spray can. I really liked LustreKote for its fuel resistance although it could be sensitive to surface preparation. I presume that this is for a glow powered plane covered in monokote. I've heard of Rustoleum on glow models but have only used it on petrol powered planes myself.

I ordered some LustreKote from Tower Hobbies 4 or 5 years ago. It couldn't be shipped to Canada though. My sister lives in Whiterock BC, she has a PO box in Blaine Washington so I shipped it there and she picked it up and then mailed it to me, no problems that way.

I can't even seem to find Lustrekote online these days. I wonder if it has been discontinued.
