Have not tried it specifically, but if it is like the usual "chinakote" stuff, it ain't so hot, especially if it is being used on a glow powered plane.;)

BLOODY brilliant stuff very easy to use DEFINITLY not the stuff they put on there arf,s ,I reckon its better than Monocoat the only covering that would better is Solarfilm,this chinese covering goes round curves great, sticks very well I,ve covered 3 planes with it and would highly recommend it to all,and at this price you can,t go wrong why not buy a 5metres roll you wont regrett it ,,
the only critizism I have of Hobbycity is trying to communicate with them its like me trying to talk to my cat in chinese it just doesn,t understand, mind you they have a different mentality than us english speaking people

Your cat must be awefully scared right now, usually that's the last thing they hear before they become the menu?!:):D I threaten my cat with a trip to the local chineese place all the time, they run.;)

But if it's like the stuff on my CMP christen eagle, it appears to be decent stuff, doesn't shrink very well, but that may have been who covered it. It's fairly thick covering material, but it does stretch quite nice, especially around those wing tips that are god awefull with the ribs going outward to the tips.

I`m covering my third model with this stuff right now.

I`ve used many differnt covering films in my time and rate this stuff as very good when you consider the price. The climate here is pretty warm and poorly applied film will sag at the drop of a hat. If you are having trouble shrinking it, I reckon you`re not applying enough heat. When using Oracover/Ultracoat or Solarfilm Polyester (both exceelent products I reckon), I found that I could shrink these by running over the film with the iron.

With the Hobbyking product I have found you can really make a good finish from an average start by really cooking it with the heat gun.

Takes a little getting used to, but in my book a top product for the price.
