Default Digital Edits, Effects with FREE Software

Here is a sample of some simple edits and effects I have done using freeware software on the Internet. These
pictures were taken with my digital cam, and some of the backgrounds came from familar sources

The software used for Editing is PIXIA

I am just getting started my fist attempt at these.

on the shot you have with the two men standing by the plane, you might want to think of adding a "drop shadow" on all of the elements individually. This is a labour of love a lot of the time. The best way to play with the drop shadow is to duplicate the cut out image, fill it with black (preserve transparency) and then take it off after you did this. Go ahead and soften your shadow the "scew" it.

Now that I have completely messed with your mind - go as far as you can and I'll help you when you get stuck.

There are easier ways to do a drop shadow but you don't have total control over it.

Yeah, I could use all of the tips I can get. This is alot of fun and I am a real novice at taking pictures and using the
software to mess with the images. I will try to figure out the shadowing and see how that goes.

Thanks Again!

If you are a cheapskkate, like I am, and want the power of Adobe Photoshop, but, won't pay the price, there is a great program called Paint Shop Pro. It is available for a 60 day trial free at

http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satelli...=1047024437292

If you decide to buy, get the version with the manual.
