I don't know where to post this , but I can't post an avatar by my sn. I've went thrugh probablly 30 pics , I've shrucken(spelled?) them too very small sizes and it always says the file is too big. I' ve tried everything. I'm running windows xp w/ paint and I also have kodak. Can someone please help me post a damn picture in there. I've been tryin for months (literally). It is really starting to anger me.[:@]

How LARGE or better yet, how small of a file are you trying to load?

also, what type of file are you tying to load?

Most of the time, the system will accept a jpg but even at that, a "gif" is even that much smaller again.

nope , it said it was uploaded successfully!? Same thing no avatar, I guess I'm just not supposed to have one.

Thanks marwen1! This whole time I was trying to save as a bitmap. Or if I was saving a gif or jpeg i wasn't hitting ok at the bottom of the settings , thanks again, Nick

crazy nick

Just a couple of things to remember

* make your file really small (aound 80 or so)
* keep that file permanently in the same location that it was when you made the avitar
* jpg or gif

of yea! I guess you have to hit "OK" lol
