Default GoPro mounting methods?

Thinking about getting a gopro hd camera for some onboard filming. As wondering how effective the suction mounts are, or if anyone has any mounting experience with this camera? I fly mostly jets, with the odd warbird thrown in now and again.
Thanks for any input!

I just bought a GoPro Hero 2. I bought the additional mount that can be attached via a 1/4x20 bolt. Very simple.

The GoPro3 has a reusable mount in the camera package that the camera is mounted on.
What about using it?
