If you want to see some long range FPV flights, [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=599671]here[/link] and [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=595508]here[/link] are a couple from a guy called JettPilot who, as you will see, created some heated debates over this type of RC AP. He's posted in RCU's AP forum to but probably not as much as in RCG's. If you do a search by that user name at RCG, you can find alot more about his setups.

Then, if you want to see one really wild ride by RC FPV, take a look at [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=729355]this[/link] AP video! You won't believe what the ending shot is in this one.
OK, the end is about the most extreme R/C stunt I have ever seen! But I don't understand how it is FPV. I've looked at the end frame by frame and the person flying the plane does not appear to be using any sort of goggles for FPV flying. Am I missing something? I would also like to see what everything looked like after the end of flight.

I guess I assumed it was flown FPV because of those far away runs, down under those trees and that incredible spiral nose dive by that building. He was damn good to keep his eye on that thing.

Below is a cool FPV video I found a while back. This guy has a custom motion tracking headset. It shows the FPV and him operating in this video.

FPV & Tracking Headset (.mpeg - right click, save as)

Fred is one of the pioneers of FPV flying, he started a lot of years ago.

He developed that mechanical head tracking before any electronic HT existed. And thatĀ“s not his only amazing creation, heĀ“s a genius!

His site worth a look, I specially like the joystick control for FPV Once he said he was thinking about using a Force Feedback Joystick to connect with his airspeed indicator to make the control hardness dependant of the speed [X(]

ThatĀ“s FPV, but heĀ“s not who is inside the house, heĀ“s sitted in a chair in the balcony.

That video generated a big discussion about safety, as you may see in the thread
