I'm getting a divorce!
OK, NOW THAT I'VE GOT YOUR ATTENTION!
I'm divorcing my DraganFlyer SAVS. Seems I fell for this sweet young T-Rex 600. Something about the roar of that 4-foot rotor...
I've got a full-time job now shooting AP stills, and plan to put the money from the DF sale towards building a $4000 Maxi-Joker over the slow winter months. The DF has been a lot of fun, but I need to lift a heavy SLR camera. Eventually I'll need to lift HD video equipment.
I'm in the process of cataloguing parts to put on eBay, and so far I've hit the $4,000 mark on the first pass. Besides the SAVS DF and receiver systems (the DF has a brand new Spectrolutions board), I've got another brand new controller board & Berg receiver in bags, the Coby PMP7040 and Eyetop Centra video monitor sunglasses, 6 batteries, 8 sets of blades. I've logged 28 hours on the DF and it shows some wear, but not bad. I've shot hours of surveillance video and worked with government agencies with it, as most of you know. It's a basic flying surveillance workhorse - that's what it's good at.
Cheers,
Bruce
