Default brushed/brushless??

quite new to RC but everyone starts somewhere, hay!

i am looking to convert my Draganflyer v ti to brushless and i know that the process is not like changing a light bulb!

i understand the mechanical difference between both types of motors but...my question is...

why cant a brushed motor just be replaced with a brushless one?
i see a few people moding thier boards add things and changing the wires but why?

Default RE: brushed/brushless??

Here is your new favorite thread! Read and enjoy....bottom line is that it is not a simple motor switch. Involves much more and in essence will not involve your original DF at all.

Good luck and see you on the thread.
