Default capacitor type? novice question.

Hi all

In regards to the Ceramic Motor Capacitor for filtering electrical noise that are currently issue with the Draganflyer v ti.

SKU: DF-MOTORCAP
I am looking for the specifacations on these, and would very much apreciate your help in finding out the following..

Lead Pitch, Capacitance Tolerance, Voltage, Capacitance, and Manufacturer.

Any information you can give me would be helpful.

Ragards,

Jonny Poole.

Default RE: capacitor type? novice question.

i know that If you put 12 volt capacitor into a 24 volt circuit, all you will get out is 12 volts. but what would be the out come of putting a 24 volt cap on a 12 volt circuit? would this work on the DF motors as i have loads of them lying about.

The 12V is the maximum rating that the capacitor can work with. So, as long as it is higher than 12V, that is fine. Now, if you put a 6V cap on it, you get to see what happens when capacitors explode!

.01uF capacitors are the cockroach of electronic parts. They are used EVERYWHERE. As long as you get close when replacing it, that is fine.
