SJ50 and OS-F plug
Hi Bob…just want to share my SJ50 experience…The last time I flew my Kaos40 was nearly a year ago (been flying mostly gassers and heli)…I dusted it off, and didn’t recognize the glow plug (black body with silver post)…I recall having iffy performance the last time it flew…I installed a new OS F plug, and after small adjustments to the needle, it was starting and running like it used to after initial break-in…I’m using my heli fuel (50-50 mix of 12.5% and 30%), 9x7 APC…Luckily, the rx pack died on the ground, so I pinched the fuel line to shut it down…My buddies have never seen a Jett fly…Next Wednesday (w/ a new rx pack)…

Good fortune to have the battery die on the ground.
The F plug will work just fine. It is actually a very hot plug, and we sometimes use it in the 60LX and 90LX to help with midrange transition issues.
Dub ships the engines with Merlin "hot" plugs. Good products.
Any good "hot" plug will work good, MC56 and the hangar 9 performance plugs are my weapon of choice lately. And usually the OS8 works fine too.

I could not find a MC56. I assumed they were made by McCoy but I did not see them on their website. Who are they made by? Also, there is several H9 performance plugs on Horizon's website. Do you have a preference? I have been using K&B plugs for my SJ 50 and FIRE 50 but have had a hard time getting them the last two times I tried to order and if these are good plugs, I will put some on my next RC order.
