Nice music isn't it :) 15,400+ on the ground, will unload a bunch in the air too.

Just for those following along, which engine mount are you using ?

I've had good luck with the Vess props. Their 9x7 on the smaller engines has been killer

Bob,

I am using the Hyde mount for the 110 engines (Part # <font face="Arial" size="2">HCMYS110A) </font>. I had to re-drill the holes to get the engine closer to the backplate, but other than that it is a fantastic engine mount. Also, if anyone is going to use this mount, you will want to move your firewall back during the building stage since the back of the mount is about 3/4" thicker than a standard mount.

I see on the Central Hobbies web site that Merle has another soft mount for .40 - .80 size engines. . .

i too am trying the Vess props.
i asked about Vess in the speed prop forum and got no answers from anyone............so thx indeed for showing the vid's

I was impressed by the Vess props when I had my DA-50 aircraft.  I didn't know they made props this small until I chatted with Bob27s.
.
As you can see on the second video, this thing starts pulling hard right at 10k. . . you really have to have a good hold on the plane up at full power.
