Default nmx beasy

I am thinking of getting the new UMX beast, my lhs says the supplied lipo can only be charged with the included charger. does anyone know if this is true? i have a triton jr. with the 2s balancer, can i not use that? any help in this area would be appriceated. thanx.

From the looks of the pack on Horizon's site, they use only a balance tab on it. No separate power lead.

So your charger would have to charge it through the balance tap.

Looking at the Triton manual, the lowest setting is for 350mAH, which would be pretty high for that pack.

So I'd say no don't use your charger for that pack.

I just got one and I love it.  However, the two cell battery supplied cannot be charged with my standard charger.  The tab does not even fit in the in the tab port.  It takes around 30mins to charge and only one at a time.  Im thinking about getting another charger or rewiring the plane.  I really love this plane I just step out my front door and Im at the park.  I flew in 10 mph+ today.  It few great considering the size.  Hope that helps. Oh and I love this plane...
