Default Series or parralel two power supplies for Hyperion 720i super duo3

Hi all.

Need a power supply to supply a 100watts.

Looking at joing two 550 or 600 watt power supplies in series or parralel to get the required wattage to use this charger to its full potential.

Any thoughts pls

Mario

500 or 600 to get 100? Or did you mean 1000 watts? Depending on the voltage of what you are needing, the power supplies would need to be series if they are both supplying the correct voltage, and parallel if you need higher voltage. However, tying two power supplies together doesn't usually work well. They would tend to fight each other unless they are properly balanced, drawing the same current between them. Your best bet is to just get a 1000W power supply and be done with it.

DOH, yep, opposite, series voltage, parallel current.
