Default E-Flight Hurricane Battery Question 14.8?

I am wanting to purchase a warbird with Retracts. I want to stay w/ Foam, and like the Parkzone Spittfire, or the E-flight Hurricane.

The E-flight Hurricane uses a 25 size 1000kv motor and 60A esc and is the same exact set-up as in my E-flight YAK. The website reccomends a 11.1 3200, but being as it's the same set-up, I don't think it would hurt to use the 14.8 battery from my YAK in the Hurricane for more power... thoughts or ideas? other than the battery being alittle heavier

Default RE: E-Flight Hurricane Battery Question 14.8?

Not a lot to say here as you seem to know what your doing as you say the Yak has the same set-up as the Hurricane,if it were me i'd double check first and maybe use a watt meter just to make sure
Hobbyking (Durafly) does some sweet warbirds too now and my DH-100 Vampire should be on my door step some time this week

I wouldn't mind getting there monster Stang but i'm just waiting see if i can use a new field or not as my field i have to hand launch everything, but i'm keeping my fingers crossed as it is one hell of a sweet warbird and a good price.
I'll post a link to see what you think of it,good luck with your set-up but i don't think you will need it as long as you double check everything and just make sure it's not to nose heavy, still better than tail heavy
