Default Power supply reccomendation needed.

Time to buy a 110 Volt power supply for my Cellpro 10XP charger. Max on this is 15amps 600W. Besides the unit available from Revolectrics was wondering what others are using.

Thanks,

John B.

Regular old PC power supply. Easy to hack, and you can get em for next to nothing or even free from the repair shops and such.

I have a pair of em. One runs 2 Astro 109 chargers, and the other my regular cell charger.

John,

Head ovet to EvilBay and shop around for a pair of HP DPS-600PB B 575W Switching Power Supplies and connect them in series for 24 volts. You can find them for $20 or less each and a pair of these will drive two CellPro 10 XP's at near maximum performance.

A couple of cautions:

1. Do not let the cases touch or they will short out.

2. You can only ground one power supply. If you ground both, they will short out.

I picked up one of these: NEW High Quality 24V DC 15A 360W Regulated Switching Power Supply Transformer from Ebay, works great.

Default 24v ps

How do you use this new 24V power supply if your charger requires 12V?
