Lipo battery size?
Hi All,
I just bought a PK Focke-Wulf, Im going to put it together today, however the plane calls for a 3 cell, 2200 MAH 11.1 volt Lipo battery. I have two 3 cell 1800 11.1volt Lipo batteries, and one 3 cell 2200 MAH 11.1`volt battery. Can I run the plane useing my 1800 MAH Lipo batteries? Will the results just be a little shorter flight time?

That's the most likely result!
There is a caviat - - - The lower capacity also generally means that the peak
available current is less. This makes the "C rating" of the 1800mah batteries more important.
It should be higher. For instance if the 2200mah battery was rated at 20C, the 1800mah battery would
need to have at least a 25C or 30C rating.
If the 2200mah battery is being pushed to it's limits, the 1800mah may be marginal, even with a higher "C" rating.
