Default Hitec Servos and Lipo's voltage

It was recommended that I pose this question here.

Read something that threw me. I am going to build an electric version of the Kadet Sr. and it calls for standard servos. This is not my first electric plane, but the first one that doesn't already come with a matched power plant. I am considering Hitec Standard HS 430 BH servos and in the notes it shows them rated to Nimh 4-7 cells, or a 2S Lipo's. I am using a 4s lipo for power and am now wondering if this means I can't use the Hitec's?

The servos can handle over 8 volts. You're not going to plug them directly into your 4S flight pack!! You need a UBEC that reduces the flight pack voltage down to 8v or less.

Yes, I am using an Eflite BEC rated at 60 amps so the battery will be isolated. I believe that I am ok. It just made me raise the question when the servo tech info mentioned the 2s. Thanks for the feedback.
