Default Li-poly choice

I am somewhat new to the Li-poly battery scene. But I own a Triton Charger and want to buy a LiPO battery for an small 12 oz (With Ni-cads) speed 280 park flyer. I know I can expect longer flight times with Li-po batteries, but which one should I buy? Voltage and Capacity? I have been using 7-cell 350 MA Ni-cads.

Then, what about for a twin speed 400 airplane? I scratch built a Westland Whirlwind that was in M.A.N. it will weigh 30-32 oz. can I use a Li-po battery for this airplane? Which size?

Thanks for putting up with my lack of understanding on this new technology.

Default RE: Li-poly choice

For the 280 plane try a thunderpower 2s 1320 or kokam 2s 1500. Cant help you with the duel 400s
