Default ESC and Li Poly

Sorry if this is a rehashing of a topic but....I was wondering if I could use 2 Lithium poly's with a Pro 060 ESC on a Slow Stick. Is this a programmable ESC for low voltage. I am new to this and need advice. I know this is overkill but I imagine I can use it in upgrades. The description of the Pro 060 is:

60 AMP MAX
Dimensons - 1.42 X 0.95 X 0.31 in.
Weight - 0.70 oz.
High frequency, auto set-u, safe motor start, soft motor start, dynamic brake,
low battery cut off, BEC

Thanks,
Richard
