Li-ion with GWS park flyers
i used to be very much into planes, but then reverted into helicopters and i proudly own a very capable dragonfly (and an eclipse 7!). I want to move back into the plane area, but being short of cash and preferring a little power, i was wondering if i could just use my previous 3.7V 600 (or maybe 700)mah 2 cell lithium ion battery pack so that i dont have to buy a new battery and charger. Is this at all possible to do? i want something like the e starter to begin with, it has a 300 speed motor. Also, this may be a little too far out but, to save costs, is there any chance of reusing the dragonfly speed controller? i sure hope so but i'm doubtfull.
Thanks a lot,
Engwerda

RE: Li-ion with GWS park flyers
Unless the plane is VERY small, neither of those items will be particularly useful given the information you've provided. The Dragonfly is a tiny indoor helicopter, right? I would highly doubt that the ESC is rated for much more than 2 Amps, if that, and the battery is not capable of much more than 2 Amps either. That limits you to "Pico" stuff like the original GWS Tiger Moth, and other IPS powered airplanes.
