Default charging sub-c battery packs

I have a 2100 mah 8.4 volt nicad sub-c pack and a 3000mah 8.4 volt nimh sub-c pack. what's the highest charge rate I can safely use for these packs. I'm using a duratrax intellipeak charger

Default RE: charging sub-c battery packs

For NiCd, you can charge the Sub C cells safely at 3C.
For NiMH, you can safely charge large cells at 2C.

C is the capacity of the pack. Therefore 3C on a 2100mAh pack is 6300mA, or 6.3 Amps.
