DO LI PO & LI ION CHARGE THE SAME WAY
Hi,
I have a Swallow charger that has a setting for Li Ion batteries. The Li pack I have is Li Po, can I use the Li Ion setting for this type of battery?
Have have charged the battery slowly / carefully (1/2 C and constantly supervised) and all seems to be well but I'm not sure if I will get the best out of my batteries this way. Any thoughts?
All the best, Simon

You are safe but won't get a 100% charge in li-ion mode. The li-ion charges to about 3.6 volts per cell and lipo charge at about3.7 per cell.

Well now I'm just a bit confused. Does anyone have a reference for this issue?
Regardless, thank you for the feedback, I really do appreciate it.
