Default Battery for 2 pound plane?

In general terms will a 3 cell Lipo pack with ~2100 mah capacity combined with a brushless motor have the power/duration to fly a 2 pound plane in a pattern style?
My limited experience with electrics is that my beloved SmoothE (19 ozs AUW) using a 3 cell 1320 mah battery allows 20 minutes of "acrobatic" flying. I just want to make sure I don't underspec the battery in a 2 pound pane. Duration is more important than max power. Thanks
