Default 30A charging current to 800mah LiPo 3cell

I'm using Triton charger. When I tried to charge the LiPo 11.1V 3cell it read 30-35A charging current. Usually this charging current is much below this value. So I unplugged it. Do you think this is sometimes normal, or what? I do not know about the brand of the battery. I did not continue to charge it, didn't know what should happen. Any ideas?

Something wrong somewhere. There is no way a Triton could supply 30 amps, and there is no way an 800 mAh LiPo could take it more than a few seconds. Did you see any smoke, smell anything?

1) You are supposed to program in the max charge current for your LiPo pack before charging... an 800mAh pack would require a max setting of 0.8A (800mA).

2) The Triton will allow a max of 2.5A for LiPo cells

Sorry to dissapoint you but it was 30A. We saw 30A and looked at each other and stopped the charger directly, since we knew something was wrong. Since you insist on, I will connect again and observe more clearly from a little distance and tell you. There also was no smoke.

Yes I was mistaken, what it wrote was 30V. Our second LiPo also saw 30V on the Triton. Do you think this is normal???
