Battery Connectors
Hi all, I have a Sig Lil Rascal and it calls for a 1900mah battery witha Tamiy Plugs, the only one I could find was from Tower Hobbies, however it will not fit in the fusalge it is to long. Where do I find battries with this connector that are less than 5" long? Or can I buy thr connectors and batteries seperate?
Thanks
Chuck

RE: Battery Connectors
Hi Chuckd,
If you can solder, then get the pack you need and change those awfull tamiya connectors to deans type. If you can't, then learn, as it with only take 10mins, and then change to the deans type. I like to have female deans on battery pack (less change of accidental shorts), Male on the battery side of you speed controller, 2 - 3.5mm female gold connectors on the motor side of the speed controller and the matching size male gold conntectors on the motor (if I don't solder the speed controller straight to the motor). That way you can't connect anything the wrong way round, except getting the motor to run the wrong way.
