Default 10 minutes to 90% charge??!!!???

So I heard a rummor that in the near future there will be batteries that can be charged to 90 percent their capacity in ONLY 10 minutes. Is this true?

Sanity check! That would mean you charge a 1 Ah pack at 6 amps (assuming 100% charge effeciency. I doubt if you will see this in the near future.

FMA's LiPo packs for RC cars with their charger are getting close to this, but I think its only 20 minutes to 90%. At the rate everything is progressing it would almost be scarry to be able to look 10 years into the future.

FMA's new skyvolt system charges li-po's to full capacity in 20 minutes. It's here....

that's 3c I can see 6 c real soon, I hope. Have to buy a bigger power supply []
