Default 370 outrunner problem

I have an eflite 370 outrunner that has never been ran before. I first tried putting it on a shockflyer and when I finished the plane and was checking all of the control surfaces and I hit the throttle and the motor ripped off the plane. Upset with myself thinking it was my error in building the plane to light I then put about 3 inch triangle stock on all four sides. I launched the plane and it got about 10 feet away at 1/4 throttle and it started to vibrate and ripped off the plane again. Now I wasn't upset just plain pissed off so I test ran the motor just on the bench. Some times it runs up smooth but other times it will be smooth and then vibration comes into major affect. The shaft looks great, the press on prop shaft looks great, the spinner nut looks great and the prop is balanced. Keep in mind this motor has never been run. I am also using the eflite 20amp speed control.

Does anyone no what the problem is or is it just that I got the bad one in the bunch and I need a new one?

Thanks for the help

Edge :
Does it have a prop saver or a bolt on prop? If it's a prop saver it may be moving forward and running out of balance if the rubber is not strong enough . I use a neoprene O ring.

It is a spinner nut, No one around here can figure it out. One time it will be fine and the next time it will act up.

I have had trouble with two eflite 370 INRUNNERs breaking the shaft right out of the motor. The first one broke while pressing on the pinion gear and the second one seems to have 'twisted' to the point of breaking. Has anybody else had problems with them? I'm at a loss.

Mine has always run very well with a similar setup to yours, although I have a high kv rating so I don't push it too much. It has ran very smooth without any problems for 4 full months now without any problems, and that is with nose-over landings. I guess some are just not right; send it back.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with the e-flite INRUNNERS?

Is the prop carefully balanced? (I have never seen this problem before). Is the shaft straight... the ussually are, because they are quite hard.

the shaft is straight, the prop is okay. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Curious if this has been a recuring problem.
