Apogee batt connectors ...
This is my first Li-Po battery so I have no idea how this thing works ... It's an apogee 2S1P 2480mAh ... I know there's a charge end and a discharge end, but I don't know which is which. There was no instruction with the battery. One side has 2 thick wires ... red and black, I'm guessing this is the discharge end? ... The other side has 3 small wires (red, black, black) attached to some kind of connector. If this is the charge end ... how can I charge it with the Electricfly PolyCharge which has 2 wires for charging. And the 2 connectors are not compatible.
I appreciate it if anyone can clear up some things for me. Thanks
Trung

RE: Apogee batt connectors ...
The two thick wires -- red and black -- are for connecting to your speed control and for charging the battery. You should solder them to a connector which is compatible with your charger and use a mating connector on your speed control. The three smaller wires are for balancing individual cells. You can ignore them for now, until you get a compatible balancer. Apogee has some more information about balancing on its site:
