Default Problems with Hobbico AccuCylce

Has anyone ever had problems with this charger? I went to charge a new 2100 3s on one side and a 1350 3s on the other. Now I know that the 1350 has less capacity so it would charge a little faster, but not like this. The 1350 took about 25-30 minutes, the 2100 6.5 hours. Both batteries were used until there cut off points in their respective aircraft. Any help is appreciated.

Hobbico elite? Wow, if the rate was a 1C then they should've charged in an hr or so. Maybe the rate was very low on the 2100? Maybe the rate was high or the 1350 was partially full?

If it is the elite you are refering to then the only problems I have is the stock power supply seems to be a bit underpowered.

I'm trying it again, except with the 2100 on the the #2 slot to see if it makes a differance. How long should it take for a full charge?

It should be at 4.2 volts per cell and take an hour or more if the batt was discharged.

Normally the Max rate for lipo is a 1C rate 1.35 or less and 2.1 amps or less. Haveing a lower rate may increase battery life , and wil take longer to charge. You probably can do well to charge at 2 amps for the 2100 and 1 amp for the 1350. (or less)

I tried and it worked alot better. I had the charge rate way to low at .45 amps. This time the charge only took 30 minutes. EXCELLENT !!!!!

A 30 minute charge sounds maybe too fast. Maybe the batt was not discharged? Anyways please be careful not to go too high on the rate and not to go over the batt manufactuture's recommendation.

Anyways, the elite is a bit goofy at first, but is a very nice charger.
