the dumist questjion on lilpo
I just got a new charger "triton" it wonts to know the volt cut off of my 3cell lilpo. i thout it was 11.1 but when i checked a pack that was fully charged from my old charger it sed 12.something volts. what do i set the volt cutoff to on 2c an 3c packs?[&:]

If you're asking about chargeing then the older li-ions are 8.2 and 12.3
Lipos are 8.4 and 12.6 volts.
Triton uses 10.8 and 11.1 for 3S and 7.2 and 7.4 for 2S for the setting.

The manufactors usually say the voltage on LiPo`s are 3,7 Volt per cell. And the maximum voltage over the cell at the end of charge is 4,2 Volt. Therefore, 12,6 volt is the voltage at the end of charging.
As on NiXX the "nominal" voltage is 1,2 volt, fullt charged they often are above 1,55 volt.
