Default lipo charging amps

This may be a dumb question but I have always heard and read not to charge lipos at more than 1c. What exactly is 1 c??
Thanks.

Default RE: lipo charging amps

C indicates the Capacity of the battery pack. For example, if you have a 1200mAh pack, C would be 1200mA, or 1.2 Amps. 1C means charge your pack at one times the Capacity.

Now that makes sense. I am glad to hear that since I have been charging my 1250 at 1 amp. Thanks for your help.
