Puffed Lipo is it still good?
I flew a lipo that was under rated for my Trex. (3e Model 1800Ma 10C)
My Bad!
The esc hit the low voltage cutoff after about 5Min. flight.
So I i set it down and turned it off.
The Battery was hot and started puffing up.
It returned to normal size after cooling down and took a charge like normal.
Is this battery any good or is it dangourous now.
At $30 a pop I don't want to be overly cautious and throw away a good battery.

I agree. It is not worth the risk. I just crashed a LiPo, and it appeared fine, one corner was dented, so I ditched it anyway. Just not worth having it around.

RE: Puffed Lipo is it still good?
i have had two great planes 3 cell li-pos and they both started to expand in like 3 months of use
I still have one and i am keeping it in an ammo box
what would happen if i tried to charge it?
is it something that i am doing wrong?
What does a saltwater bath do?
im looking for a new 3 cell
which one should i get ?
700-900mah
