Transmitter Batt. Packs
Can I charge my 900 mah nicad transmitter batt. useing my fast charger . Also how many Amps would it be safe to charge them at.

Thanks for your quick reply , I went to Red Scholefield web site www.batteryclinic.com he has a wealth of information there and It's a worthwhile read for anyone getting into E flight .

There are usually a fuse inside the transmitters, often rated at 1A to protect against shorts when the owner mess with his charge-leads
Rule of thumbs says NiCd can be charged at 2C max, but this is a general rule only. If your batteries have the AA-shape they are NOT for quick-charge. I would not have charged at more than 6-800mA on these batteries. And only if I were in a hurry.
