GP Spectra with LIPO Battery
Hello,
I have an electic motorglider GP Spectra with standard motor GP T601 and I´m using a 7.4V LIPO battery. Can I use 11.1V LIPO Battery?... I will improve power without risk?
The motor is brushed and rated 7.2-9.6 V
With the 7.4V LIPO battery the motor run cold but it seems a little underpower.

RE: GP Spectra with LIPO Battery
if all your EQ, like the BEC, the ESC, and the motor are up for it, then you could try it and see what kind of performance, and heat build up you get out if it. There are alot of motors are rated in that range that work fine on a 3s lipo. The only thing is the motors don't last quite as long, and can run a bit hot and might need a heatsink. GL with it =)
