Need outrunner equal to a .60-.75 glow
I am looking for a cheap china outrunner for a ground vehicle project I am putting together. I have esc's big enough (CC125 or CC110hv) and batteries already as well. Just looking for something about the power equivelent of a .60-.75 glow engine. Anyone know of a good one? Once I figure out which one it will require I will buy a better motor....this may be a flop so cheap is the only option for now.
Thanks,
Kevin

One commonly used rule of thumb for "IC to Electric comparability" would suggest you need to look in the 1200W-1500W range - "cubic inches x 2000".

Hobby People sells the KMS 5331/10 http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/108544.asp
It's only about 70% the power of the AXI of the same size, but it's a good motor. Swings a 14 to 16 inch prop well on 9 to 12 cells.
Props I've used: 16x10 3-blade, APC 16x12 and 16x14 pattern on 9 cells; APC 14x10 and 14x12 on 12 cells.

So I take it there is no "cheap" option really? The price of that one was more than the power 110 by eflite. Looking to get off cheap for experimental purposes. Hate to buy a good one and just have to buy another because it was too much or not enough. I will get a pic of my project up for you's to see.

The eflight is a good motor and easy to get.
OK, here's cheap:
http://www.aero-nuts.com/index.php?cPath=30_84&&page=2
$65 for a 5330 230Kv motor.
These are sold by lots of web sites.
I've bought from them, they take paypal and ship out of HK. Magnets are weak (N38 or N42 ???), so don't expect the performance of an AXI or Scorpion.
