Lipo balancer question
Hi,
I have a TP-205v balancer and was wondering if I can balance other brands of batterys. I wanted to buy a 3s4800 Impulse, but was wondering if the balancing connector would fit my TP 205. Are balancing connectors a sandard size?
Regards,
Frank

RE: Lipo balancer question
No. Balancing connectors are all over the place: pin size, pin spacing, wire layout. The True R/C site has a chart of which connectors are similar. In many cases it's simply making sure that the wire arragement is the same on the balancer tab as itis on the balancer. In some cases an adapter is needed.

RE: Lipo balancer question
That's because it was RC Accessory. Go to their "Battery Tap configuration guide." It's a list of which brands go with which adapter, but you can read it as a list of compatible brands using the same tap and configuration.
Tried to send you the PDF, but RCU doesn't support it.
