Default charging raido lipo battery

Hello, I bought a lipo battery for my Futaba 7c radio. It is a zippy made for this radio,it is a 3 cell 2500 mAh 03c. This 03c is my concern as all my other zippy's have either 20c or 30c. My question is at what rate do i safely charge this battery? My 3s 2200 20c batteries i charge at 2.2amps and my charger you can select 20c up but no lower than 20c. Thanks for your help and info. I personally would charge it at 1C or 2.5A. Unless that manufacturer says it can be charged at 2C or more, I would stick with 1C.

Are you sure about the specs? I just looked on HK's site and they don't list a Zippy 2500 for tx's.

There is the Flightmax 3S2500 for tx's.

And yes it's 03C rated. The tx doesn't need a lot of amps, so that's why the pack is rated so low. 03 x 2.5 =7.5 amp capability.

As for charge rate, per the pack you can charge it up to 2C rate, which would be 5 amps.

Thou I would stick with the normal 1C rate of 2.5 amps.

Not sure about your charger supposedly charging at above 20C, as normally, like your packs that's a discharge rate.

I'm using this same pack in my Futaba7 and Spektrum tx's, I don't charge the packs beyond 12 volts thou, just to keep the tx happy. Been nearly a month and half of on and off use and I'm still at 11.5 volts.
