Default Help with battery choice please

I have this setup:

TGY AerodriveXp 90 SK Series 50-65 380Kv / 1820w
Hobbyking SS Series 90-100A ESC
TGS Sport 16x10E Precision propeller
Turnigy 3000mAh 6S 30C Lipo Pack

It pulls between 1050 and 1100 watts. I have an extreme flight 70" edge and it needs between 1700 and 2000 watts. What size/type battery do I need to achieve this? I'm a long time flyer but pretty new to electric. Any help is appreciated.

John

Is this 2 different set-ups?

1100 watts / 6S is around 52 amps. I'm sure the 3000 30C pack won't handle it , but 2 of them might.

The second set-up (if voltage is the same needs around twice that. I don't trust the ratings on packs , but if you know the actual on the set-up and the actual on the pack then you can make a match.

Agree with guver, your pack isn't up to the load. Per MotoCalc as is the set should be pulling 1250 watts.

To get to where you want to be, with the components listed you'll need to up the cell count to 7, and increase the capacity, most likely by paralleling packs.

Something like a 7S5000 30C x 2 will get you there. Around 77 amps, 1900+ watts in a perfect world.

I am using the exact same setup as you for a Mits Zero upgrade to electric I am doing. I need help with choosing correct setup in my 90a-100a Hobbyking SS ESC. Can you tell
me all your choices for parameters in the esc. I am using same motor and don't know # poles or anything. Please help. Thank you in advance. Best regards, Mike.
