Default LIFE Charger question

Simple question: Do I need a charger specifically for this type of battery or can a LIPO charger suffice? I hate having to by another type-rated charger unless I have to.

Thanks to all for a response!

The charger should match the type of battery (more specifically the termination voltage limits)

You MAY need to update your charger and get a Li-ion charger, found on Tower for example.

$25 plus shipping, this one handles li-ion also - you'll need a power supply to run it.

Or just visit your local hobby shop and see what they have in a multi function charger.

Guys,

Thanks to all for your responses. I am interested in the LIFE batteries but am tired of the "new battery, new charger" syndrome. I was hoping my Triton Jr. charger purchased recently would handle the task but it doesn't appear so.

In any event, thanks to all for responding!

Nobody said electric flight was simpler or cheaper than wet fuels.
