Lower power battery for test

I have a new rimfire that states it needs a 3s-11.1v-2200amp battery....this is for a new build conversion. I have not purchased the required batteries yet. Is it OK to use a 3s-11.1v-1350amp to test servo movement / adjustment ect. or do I risk damaging the battery ?

No risk at all if you are only testing servos etc... the only possible way to get into trouble would be to fit a prop to the motor and run it static at WOT... and even then, only if the amp draw exceeded the capability of the 3s 1350.

There should not be a problem. Routinely, for test, I use Lipos that are no longer flyable, due to poor behavior under load.
Setup without a propeller (unless something's shorted) does not draw much power.
