Blade 400 Post Repair Problem
Hello All:
After a recent crash I replaced the feathering spindle, main shaft, flybar, main gear and esc.
The problem. I now have to put in a lot of left rudder to keep the nose straight. With a 6dxi there is not nearly enough left trim to help so I keep it in the middle. I am not experiencing any vibrations and I checked all the curve numbers to the manual.
Any suggestions to resolving this problem will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Busha

Look in your 400 manual if you don't know how to this.
Before you do anything make sure all of the rudder sub trims are zero in the radio and outside the radio too! Flip your radios exterior/gyro switch into rate mode which is below 49%. Heading Hold mode is what you fly in and that number will be the top number when you are in your radio menu looking at the two numbers, again rate mode is the bottom number. At that point your tail blades should be perfectly straight. Your servo arm should be at a perfect vertical position to the heli. Next check your radio end points for the rudder, you will see the numbers change as you mive the rudder from left to right.
There is your starting point, good luck.
