Dont do this!
So i was hovering nicely outside and it was quite calm so i was getting bored. So i was giving left input on the throttle stick to get the tail to spin, and doing complete circles on the right stick. Looked like a saucer and was pretty sweet untill about 5 sec into it i herd an explosion where the blades decided to cross paths.
I got showered with plastic and falling heli. [X(]
Damage was bent inner shaft, and blades. Not too bad.

RE: Dont do this!
Thank you. I'll add that to my list of Things not to do.
It's getting to be quite a list. If I'd of had this list years ago I wouldn't be so old. Boy, stupid will knock it right outa ya.

blade clack! - been there done that
try this - from a stable hover at a very good height, give it fairly hard back cyclic until the flybar juuuust stops it, then slam hard forward both sticks - count to 5 then pull both stcks hard back to the limit - you'll get inverted flight (and maybe even a loop) - slam the throttle wide open with hard right rudder and center the cyclic and hope it recovers before it hits the ground

FOUL!!
How come you guys get to publish an instruction set for certain suicide for a cx, and I got my post pulled for offering instructions for making a heli mounted bottle rocket launcher?
You must have friends in high places.
It seems to me that launching bottle rockets from a helicopter is far less . . . never mind

I was thinking of bottle rockets too. The laser I mounted is ok, but to put a small brass tube on a skid with a bottle rocket out of it would be sweet! Just need a small gnome with a match to light it (there are other possibilities too, but they might be blocked by admin).

I've envisioned a game if I ever get tired of the CX2 or really mad at it.
It envolves the CX2 and a shotgun...
"Dodge the Buckshot" [X(]
