cp pro adjustments
I have done some looking but I have not found what I am looking for. I am still learning to fly this thing.
I was adding flybar wieghts yesterday when I noticed that the spindle was bent. Luckily the LHS has a spindle so I got that replaced. However, when I was finished I noticed that the flybar motion was a lot tighter than it was previously; adjusting the mixer arms on the bell-hiller heads freed this up.
So the the question is, how tight do the screws holding the mixer arms to the bell-hiller head have to be? What adjustments do I need to make?
I know that the blade cp repair site exists. Is there one for cp pro repair?
Thanks
Doug

RE: cp pro adjustments
I was messing around with that screw before and I noticed the same thing. If you start from it being tight just loosen it until you get easy movement then it is set right. I haven't seen a CP Pro repair site sorry.

you talking about the teeter screws? - on the hbk2, i back the teeter screws off about an 1/8 of a turn from no movement tightness - movement but no slop, slop is the enemy of control, and control is what the bell linkage imparts onto the blades
i'd like to meet the designer of the spindle shaft in a dark alley some night - i'd feel better anyway til i bent it again
ushobbysupply carries hard steel replacement spindle shafts that don't bend as easy
