Default Blade 400 - unplugging the motor

Has anybody figured out an easy way to unplug/plug the motor leads? The leads from the motor seem awfully short and difficult to get to. Using pliers or tweezers to grip the plugs does a job on the insulation.

EDIT: I mis-read what you wrote... thought you were talking about battery leads.

I wish the motor leads were easier to undo as well. I need help from someone else to hold them still while I plug them back in!

Agreed that it is a poor design.
They should have, at least, made them longer.

I'm leaving them alone until I need a new motor.
Until then I'm using throttle hold for all testing and pitch measurements.

Yeah, I haven't found a major reason to disconnect the motor...very difficult to get to the leads.

I myself was going to use needle-nose pliers to try, but didn't want to crimp the connectors.

The only other thing I can think of is to maybe dremel an access point in the frame...
seems like alot to have to go through..
